Seems this Forum has a way of cutting through the **** and keeping it to the point!

So I’m here for peoples advice on wheel spacers.

I’m thinking of 10 mm spacers for a subtle stance improvement. If I pull the trigger on spacers, I’ll be sure to get quality not cheap

Are there any negatives to spacers?

Can the new geometry cause extra load/stress on suspension or brakes etc ?

Anyone regret and had to remove their spacers?

Personally not a fan of introducing an additional possible failure point between the road and the car, but if you use quality products this should be minimized.
I know a lot of you guys are in the UK or US, but here in Oz it's highly illegal to the point that if you have an accident your insurance will be void if they discover spacers on your car. Might be worth checking the legalities in your area.

I added 12mm/15mm spacers to the car. They naturally place more stress on wheel bearings but other than that I can't see any major issues so long as a reputable brand is used and they are hubcentric.

Are you by any chance considering new wheels at any stage? If you are, then specify an ET with 10mm less. This, on the face of it at least, will get around the legality issues.

If you do get spacers, I echo the above: hubcentric only.

As mentioned above really but I've ran spacers on every car I've owned and never had any issues. Stick with hubcentric, H&R are always a popular choice, and you should be fine.
