@DickoB8 - Good luck with the sale Nick
Thanks! Will be gutted to see it go should it happen but the itch for something else keeps returning. Wash time this evening hasn’t helped with considering letting it go....

Will do Geoff, I’m expecting plenty of wind noise as it seems the nature of roof bars but hoping it won’t interfere with my hands free.Make some awful noise interference on the hands free with mine when I tried them a while ago. Let me know how you get on please. Genuine Audi ones too!
I've got Farad roof bars on mine and a large Thule top box and to be honest you wouldn't have a clue it was on up to about 80MPH and after that there's just a little bit more wind noise, you'd never know they were on.Will do Geoff, I’m expecting plenty of wind noise as it seems the nature of roof bars but hoping it won’t interfere with my hands free.
Hi Duncan, I purchased them direct from Audi and they cost around the £30 mark then just purchased the 3M tape off eBay. I’ve since had the wings replaced under warranty and they kindly fitted some new protectorsI really want some of these, can I ask where they are from and how much they cost? Thanks
Yeah it all starts with stone chips but it is a design flaw, some dealers won’t entertain it what so ever others will try and help. I’ll warn you it’s a long drawn out process lots of chasing is needed but worth it if they will help! They start by measuring the paint depths and if it’s been previously resprayed they won’t entertain it but if it’s still original they will send off numerous photos to Audi and let them make the final decision. Good luck in what ever route you takeI noticed the other day the passenger side wing on min is just starting to rust on the inside edge, presuming audi will just say stone chips and not allow a warranty claim :-( , how did you go about claiming?
Thanks Jak, it’s comes up well for a 10 year old carLooks mint
