Hi :sm4:

My 2015 Allroad is in for its 4 yearly service tomorrow, and I don't think its ever had the haldex oil changed ??

Anyone know the intervals for a haldex change, and whether there's a filter to be done too ??

Cheers :sm4:

It’s 38,000 miles or 3 years I think. There will be a filter, but if it’s like my RSQ3,Audi won’t say there is one,or change it as part of the service.

Thanks for that :sm4:

I'm not even sure if the Allroad has a Haldex system ?? I can't find any info on here relating to Allroads and Haldex, unless of course, I'm just being stupid.........and that won't be the first time :crying:

I’d be surprised if it’s Haldex: I always thought that was confined to the transverse engined platform of the A3 and its derivatives.

Yeah, when I'm doing searches for "Haldex" there's lots of stuff coming up for A3's, but nothing much on A4 Allroads ??

Howdy, just to throw in my 2 pence...Haldex is indeed confined to the 3 series (sorry BMW), I know all about it as I had a failed unit on my previous S3. This is an on demand AWD which senses loss of traction at the front and sends power (I think up to around 60% max) to the rear wheels.
The 4s have a Torsen system which is permanent AWD, I think Audi only recommend it's looked at whilst being serviced to ensure no leaks and change the oil at 100k (or maybe it was just inspect it at 100k?).
