Well ... don't even know what to say.. bustards!!! Sorry for rude words but to find your car like this. Very sad and very angry to find my car in this state. The only part is not scratched is the roof. Drivers door kicked in. Even the rear light is scratched.

Unacceptable.

Lowlife scum. I just don’t get vandalism. Absolutely no gain for them and just makes someone who’s worked hard for their things suffer.

Feel bad for you mate. I hope they get caught and face the consequences but very much doubt it. Take it it’s going to be an insurance job?

WTF! Had one side done that was bad enough. These kind of people should just be shot.

I’m guessing that blue shed wasn’t there when you parked up?

It’s probably someone nearby watching you find it. No CCTV around?

There’s no good words to describe these low life scum.

some of the scratches don’t look too deep and might polish out or at least made to look a lot better.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

WOW. That's disgusting.

Had both my mirrors kicked off in a car park on Monday (along with around 6 other cars) , and was mad as a wasp.

Damage like has been done to yours, though, is truly shocking.

I will never, ever get why feral scum do vandalism like this.

WTF.. There're really lots of sick people out there... But ya, I know quite a few friends installed dashcam not for the purpose of driving record, but more for preventing vandalism, even just a blinking light would scare these scums away...

Thank you guys for you support. I really need it now.

I'm off for a next couple of days and will go to different body shop places to get quotes.

There is a mobile repairer coming today to take a look and give me some ideas.

Dont know if its worth going through insurance though but for this job I guess I'm looking at £2 -£3k

Hahaha, that blue shed is my girlfriends little run around. After 10 years she is still learning how to drive lol and refuses to change it until it dies. It's due for an MOT and I hope she fails it so I can change it.

There’s no way those will polish out, the ***** have gone through the paint.

Absolute scumbags, I’ve had it done to a golf MK4 years ago so I know how you feel.. pure jealousy is this.

Speaking from experience these types of repairs are garbage, it will look decent for a small period of time then eventually start to fade or flake.

I had a smart repair done on a Honda years ago and it looked OK in certain lights but the paint match was crap and after washing it a few times like i say the lacquer started to flake along with the paint.

The only way to get the car perfect is to get it into a good body shop who will take time on the prep work, mask it all up (to prevent over spray) and blend all the new paint into the existing on the car.

Perhaps wrapping the whole car is cheaper? And you can pick a new color too... But I’d imagine you still need to polish the scratches before wrapping..

OMG that is disgusting. Absolute f***ing scum.

Was yours the only car vandalised?

My S3 was damaged this was in 2015. Sorry to say, but no mobile repairer will fix all of that. You need a full re-spray. Plus the door will have to be repaired and painted too. As you say, you're looking at £3k+ easily.

This is a very sad fact of life in our society these days with various disenfranchised individuals looking upon anyone who has made a perceived success of their life with jealousy. People that do this kind of vandalism should be looked upon with pity as clearly they are not happy with their lives and need to bring others down to their level. The rhetoric from some of our socialist politicians doesn't help with the perceived injustice that these people feel.

Nowadays you need to consider where you live when selecting the car you buy, sad but true IMO.

Really hope he makes a good job of it. That much new paint over old paint might show up badly in direct sunlight. Hope not, and everything looks good.

Good luck.

If you haven't got one already, Mite be worth get a Dash Cam front and back with a Parked/record mode.

If that's the only reason to install a dash cam then it's pointless as it's likely the scumbags will just wear a hooded top and do it anyway.

You'll regret that in 12 months time, there is no way this weather is warm enough to paint that car how it needs to be.

I hope I'm wrong but experience tells me you've more than likely made a mistake here.

That's heartbreaking mate, and as you say, we save hard for our cars, so its not like we have loads of money. WTF is wrong with these people? Anyway, I hope the smart repairs come out ok for you.

That’s beyond horrible - with so many panels damaged, that’s malicious

I feel for you - I remember how I felt when my car suffered several years ago

The scum need taken up to the mountains and left there after getting a good slap,
Sorry to see your car like this ,
Did you report this to the police on the off chance somebody else has had this done or seen it happening ?

Wanton damage is the worse,my S5 was nicked and my S3 had the side mirrors took but that was for money.
That is someone being a f**wit of massive proportions

I personally wouldn't go down the cheap mobile route.
As others have said you will.regret it later.
The quality just won't be on par.
Have you not considered claiming on your insurance?
After all, that's what it's there for.
Granted you will be financially raped next year, but at least you will be getting a proper repair.

You could even take the opportunity to paint the car some bespoke colour (if you wanted to/aren't on finance)

you've upset some fooker

I thought that but again from my own experience this has happened to me in the past I know now I hadn’t upset anyone in the area where it had been keyed.

However, and I’m not saying this is the case, if the OP has been driving like a **** (again not saying he has) and someone has twigged the car parked up outside his address they could have possibly taken their frustrations out on the car.

Personally, I just think it’s jealous vandalism, nothing more, nothing less.

that’s what bugs me the most. If you were a thief I could almost understand if you are hard up and stealing a car there’s economic gain. Vandalism serves no purpose.
Not that I condone theft.
