Worth a look with a view to a lower offer as it does need work.
May drop him a message for more info before I drive up on a wasted trip.

Personally, I wouldn't as these are ****** expensive to repair engine wise & it's aged now, plus the seats are horrible lol.

Been up ages that, saw it on Facebook marketplace way back when but didn't think it was worth a punt due to the price of parts plus couple quid more buys something sorted.

First time I've seen to be honest , but then I've not been actively looking at saloons, just looks like a project for the right price.
I had no intensions of paying that sort of money either , I have a figure in mind that its worth to me and if that doesn't work then i'll just carry on looking.
Only saw it by sheer chance anyway.
thanks for the feedback anyway guys.

Parts and running cost aren't cheap but with a view to keep as a fun, weekend car, could be worth a punt, if the price is right ofcourse

Exactly my thinking.
On a plus side it looks on the surface pretty well unmodified , unloved aswell.
If it runs ok and vcds doesn't trow up any nasties when running etc then that is also a bonus, its not new by any stretch of the imagination but overall its tidy apart from the minor body damage.

I have an RS4 bumper in the garage along with another new grille and new set of foglamp grille covers so that's a zero expense to start with.

I suppose it comes down to wear and tear for the milage/year.
Sometimes a pocket full of cash can swing a very good deal..

It has not failed any MOT to date and has nice even annual milage.
137k over 13 years is only 10,500 miles a year , so normal for a average car annual milage.

If he will take a sensible offer then I would but thus far he wont so i'll carry on looking.
Why people say make an offer then wont accept unless its only a few pounds less , gets right up my nostril's...really not worth the hassle frankly:bye:

I was looking at a B7 RS4 but came to the conclusion a B8 S4 made more sense. I didn’t want a B8 so that ended that train of thought
