Can anyone point me in the right direction for the part numbers for the upgraded versions of these parts for the 2.0 TFSI Engine please? Also where best to get them in the UK?

Cheers
Col

try parts on this forum or just goto your local audi dealer.

I used to go to TPS but since they now operate a strictly trade only rule , I shop around but only use genuine parts, audi dealers if all else fails and ecp are useless for audi parts.

pcv assembly.

Cheers guys, much appreciated. That would be great Rob if you're wanting to sell it. I'll send you a private message.

The old girl has got a little hiccup when idling and engine management light has come on, seems to be an air leak causing it so trying to sort it before MOT. I know both these parts are made of cheese, so obvious starting points.

A failing or failed DV wont itself ping up an EML , vacuum leak somewhere may.

The light only came on today, it's been doing it for about 2 weeks now but hasn't affected driving at all, only idling so wasn't to concerned previously.
Yeah possibly vacuum leak just can't pinpoint it.

Sorry to bust balls again, Rob, but they can get any part that Audi sell, at a better rate than you or I. This is if you call up, rather than try their abomination of a website.

It's been a few years but the garage I was at got a 20% discount across the board at Audi, but it was sometimes cheaper to get the genuine part via ECP even with their markup.

Not down my neck of the woods, some parts they just cant get or wont stock , parts you can order tend to be the wrong listed parts etc.
I've given up with them due to the mess-ups they have made, must be a better service where you are then.

Sorry, maybe not specific enough, but call their central sales line rather than a branch :) I wouldn't trust a branch or the website at all, and the sales line would have to make good financial sense for me to go with them, but it does happen sometimes, and they can get anything from Audi that we can.

They have messed me around too many times now, I wont use them except for emergency non oem parts etc .

Ordered a PCV valve kit yesterday from a place called Just German parts, it arrived today and has sorted the problem, winner.

Hi folks,
Colin, can I just recap - You had a problem with uneven idling? Mine does that too (BUL engine) - like it 'misses a beat' every so often & it actually shakes the car! Only when idling though - never noticed any misfiring any other time. I did replace the PCV valve, but only with a made in china version off fleabay & it didn't make any difference.
Rob - is the part Number 06F129101L from your post the upgraded version for the BUL engine?
Maybe if I actually stop being an Aberdonian (but only temporarily) & actually buy the right bit, It'll fix mine too!

Yeah that's exactly what mine was doing. The new pcv valve seems to have cured mine though, I put on a new hose between the pcv valve and inlet manifold as well.
Have you had an engine management light with it?

boffin, if you want a scan run on the car before spending more money on a part you've already replaced, give me a shout.

No Engine Management light and I didn't replace the hoses so maybe a good clean up is worth a try.
Cheers for the offer Sidrick - I'll run a VCDS scan when I get a chance - don't remember any faults logged for it from last time I scanned but that was a few months ago.
Work, annoyingly, gets in the way of stuff you actually want to do......

best keep quiet then or else they will change that straight away.

Not a millionaire. A hard bitten Aberdonian. The exact opposite.
Though I have dealt with a few millionaires in the past - they are the hardest ones to get money out of when you give them a bill!
Guess thats why they're millionaires.......

You don't get rich by spending monies

Depends on how one spends money.....spending versus wasting, I seem to be afflicted by both at the same time:sadlike:
