Help!! Turn alarm off

hi need quick help!
Anyone know how to stop the car alarm from activating. I lock my car 15 to 30 seconds later it goes off

I’ve tried
Starting car and turning off
Open with key fob and lock with fob
Open with hand sensor in handle and close with sensor on handle
Drove around the road

As soon as it’s parked the alarm goes off
I’ve left the car unlocked but it locks itself and then the alarm goes off. Driving me crackers.
Car is secure no windows or doors open. Boot and bonnet secure..... nothing in the car at all that is moving. Thanks
Currently stood overlooking it in my drive phone and keys in hand!!
 
There was a trick to press lock twice fast and alarm should be off. Try google or call audi.

Mine doesn’t have this button... I think you have to press the lock button twice on the fob within two seconds.

You can also lock the car using the actual key within the fob in the drivers door and it won’t activate the alarm or immobiliser.

I had the alarm going off after locking and called out the AA, they scanned and updated the central alarm unit software. So far it’s been fine. It would need to be the specialist AA unit that comes out though because a normal AA unit wouldn’t have the right kit, FYI.

Thank you everyone. It’s finally stopped going off. I’ve locked the car with the physical key taken from the key fob. I have my first oil service in a few weeks so I’ll mention it then.... but also try the key fob as usual over the next few days. Weird one

I think pressing lock twice just turns off the deadlocks

Mines been going mad. My office is on a industrial estate with a couple of garages and a bodyshop next door. We often hear car alarms but as i can see my car from my desk a quick look and my lights are not flashing

The other day it happened again and i pressed unlock and the noise stopped... It looks like my alarm is sounding but not triggering the alert on the Audi app on my phone or setting off the lights
 
There's been similar posts before and I've had it happen twice too. I've decided it's just one of those annoying "features". After unlocking and locking using the app, opening everything, including all windows, and closing again, driving around the block etc, it just decides to behave. I couldn't say anything in particular that fixed it. All was fine for a few months, and it did it again.
 
Pressing the lock button twice to disable the alarm seems counter intuitive, I once owned a car where doing that would activate the deadlocks
 
Hmm... I am now on my third B9 and second RS4. The current car seems to set of Motion sensor when I am on a cross channel ferry. I can do the 2 blips to disable internal alarm but there appears to be no way to turn off motion sensor/tilt alarm. Does anyone have any ideas please?
 
Isn't there a button on the open face of the drivers door to turn off the interior protection/tow away feature. IIRC push the button and red LED lights up, then lock as normal and protection is off until next time you unlock the car

No there is no button at all.

Nope, just been checking around. I have asked Audi dealer who is meant to be checking. Bit embarrassing as alarm went off on cross channel ferry. I tried the Advance Key locking 2 touches of door handle within 2 seconds on way out and using remote key on return. On both occasions the tilt/tow away alarm went off with car on the car deck. Audi App alerted me and on both occasions it was when ship was leaving doc and tight manoeuvring.

You'll need to check the manual to see if there is a full guard setting within the mmi then. I have only a manual for an earlier car..
 
New manual implies the 2 clicks to deactivate interior sensor should/might also deactivate tow away alarm but clearly it doesn't.

I wouldn't be too embarrassed judging by the sound of car alarms coming from the Isle of Wight ferries when the leave Portsmouth

Of more concern is arriving at St Malo with a flat battery .... or is it bat flattery!
 
I ah a problem with my 2016 audi a7. i took it to an Audi specialist and they diagnosed it as faulty siren. changed for a mere £375 and as soon as I brought the car home the alarm stated to off again. I called the AA to come round hoping they would be able to disable it so my neighbours and I could get decent nights sleep but it was not possible. They suggested I try taking to add Farnborough which I did two days later. their diagnostics pointed them in the same direction but as I told them the siren was changed they dug a bit deeper and identified as a software problem ie. the car software needed an update.

After agreeing to fork out another £225 the software was updated. the error code went away which was linked to the siren and the car is fine now. I am going to update to Audi UK now as I think this is unacceptable and a complete joke. I noticed that the stop start facility now engages more frequently.

It sounds like you went to a non Audi dealer who probably will not have access to full Audi technology. If you can get a categorical statement in writing from Farnborough Audi that it is a software issue I would present this to the Independent. Trading standards were once great but Government cuts over last 10 years in Rushmore and Hampshire CC may make this difficult.
 
My car was always serviced by the local Audi dealer in Wimbledon. Last time they did oil and filter change and I asked them if they could check logs if there was an error with the alarm. They said nothing was coming up so I went to an independent.

Even more reason to go back to Audi. If you have all this documented I would go strait to Audi Customer care.
