Rear 12v Cigarette Lighter

Hi guys just a quick question. Does Audi include a rear cigarette lighter on the 8v? I have a 2015 pfl 1.4tfsi s-line. And i had a look at the rear cigarette lighter and when I took it out it's just a empty casing and not a complete unit like the one at the front. Is this normal? Can anyone confirm? Please check photos. Thank you

Im pretty sure the rear 12v cigarette lighter does not come as standard as i do not have it and recently created a thread about adding a 12v outlet

It looks as though you have a 12volt socket with a cover plug. Try testing the socket, you will probably find it’s live with the ignition on. If so you can just buy the lighter plug (if you really want to use it to light cigarettes).

Is it not ment for things like air pumps and such things for camping

i have nothing there at all except the rear vents

I think the rear 12v socket is part of the luggage and storage pack.

12v sockets and cigarette lighters sockets are different in design.

Not all 12v power adapters will connect properly in a true cigarette lighter socket. I don’t know if a normal 12v socket would connect with a cigarette lighter or have the necessary heat shielding

I have a 66 plate s line and I have the rear 12v outlet. Just put a dual usb in there.
