Hi guys, I have an audi a4 technik that comes with sport suspension, i was not happy with the height of the car so i decided to buy lowering springs from eurocarparts and get them installed 2 weeks a go. I bought the apex set lowering in 30mm. I bought this 3 weeks a go and now that they settled i'm finding my front to low as it touches in any lump. Is there anything i can do to raise the front of my car without replacing the springs again?anything that will raise the spring? Or if there is anyone here that would like to replace there sline ones to this ones i will be open to negotiate. The driving is good with this springs, i really thought the car would be a lot stiff but no, it still comfortable. I like the look of the sline but some people likes them really low and for that this ones are great. I have 18'' wheels sline and also maybe that makes my car even lower. any help?

regards

TBH, you should have come and asked for opinions here on the forum before buying the springs. There are things you should use ECP for and there are bits you shouldn't!

The only way to raise the suspension now is by putting on the OE springs. I am surprised that you are rubbing on 30mm springs. Having said that, there is a reason why people choose Eibach or H&Rs for lowering their cars.

Let's see what Damian has to suggest your dilemma!

As above, Euro Car Parts have started selling performance aftermarket parts but unfortunately know very little about them.

Do you have the part number of the kit you've purchased and fitted?

Hi guys thank you for the help. The reference is 974441151 Apex spring kit 30mm. I replaced the wheels to 19'' with good tyres and is much better as it doesn't scratch in every lump now but it still very low. unfortunately i can't upload the image as it is to heavy format.

Also if someone can advise me, my mechanic notice before replacing the springs that one side of the car in the front specially was lower than the other. I then decided to replace all the springs, and when he took out the springs there was one spring much bigger then other. Problem is that even after replacing all the springs one side still lower than the other. Any advise on this? The shock absorbers look to be different so one was replaced. Could it be due to the shock absorber? Frame? bushes(what they told me when i went to the steering alignment)? I really like the car and i spent a lot of money on it so i want to resolve this problems. But if is the frame well i don't know what to do.

Kind regards

If someone interested in exchange their suspension sline with mine i will do it for free :). I have 2 new shock absorbers in the back 4 new springs apex 30mm. But for me and my personal taste i don't like to see it this low.
Also i leave another question, Can i buy and install the audi sline shock absorbers and springs on my car? or will they also need new tops to fit my car? or any other parts.
