Trying to hardwire a dashcam the Blackvue with the Magic Power Pro.

I am using empty fuse slots F38 for constant power and F48 for ACC power. I put the fuses in the top slot only of the fuse tapper.

I get no green light on the magic power pro.

Anyone can help? Cheers

I just tested F38 and F48 with a multimeter and F38 is live constant, F48 is switched live. So those fuse slots are fine.

Is your earth good?
Iirc there is a proper earth tap lower down under the cill trim

Was thinking this could be it. Not sure where else to earth it to without removing that trim.

Just give it a good tug from the rear and it comes out pretty easy!

I couldn’t get a good earth on that screw with a U shaped lug.

I had a go at removing the trim to installer lower down but I couldn’t get it to give and it just felt wrong.

Swapped the U for an O, removed the screw and reinstalled with the O and earth was made. No issues since.

I've got it working by doing more testing with a multimeter. Top bolt is actually grounded for me. I used F13 for power and F38 for ACC. All works now. Just need to wire up the rear dashcam and route the cabling then put all the trim back together.
