I'm just wondering if a sachs coil spring for a sline "bought from euro car parts" sits higher than a genuine s line spring, I've fitted 1 tonight and its sitting quite a bit higher than the other side which has a s line spring, I know springs take time to settle but how much do they settle by? Thanks

Sorry can't help you with that but I need to change the drivers side front Spring on my s line avant did you do your on the drive or did you have a ramp and how hard a job is it ?

Cheers Nick

I done it in my garage, tbh it was a bit of a pain , if you can get the ball joint bolt out ur laughing , if not it's a bit of a hassle, especially trying to get it back together lol it was my first time doing it, but get a garage to do it to save the hassle lol

It could be higher than S-Line. They usually calculate it from the "Dynamic" (=Standard) suspension level.
I am changing my A3 Sedan S-Line springs to Eibach SportLine and those are 45mm lower than Dynamic, but only 25mm lower than S-Line suspension.

Ah what a nightmare, I got them front euro car parts, it had for sports suspention in the description of them so thought they would be fine, where is best to buy the eibach sport lines from? Might just go all out and get them lol
