Stolen Audi

BBC News yesterday:

Police searching for three high-value cars stolen from a West Lothian showroom have found one of the vehicles.

The three Audis, which have a combined value of £75,000, were taken from the Calder Motor Company premises on the Camps Industrial Estate in East Calder between 01:30 and 06:00 on Tuesday.

Officers investigating the theft found the black Audi A3, registration SP65 GBX, outside an address in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, on Wednesday evening.

Inquiries are ongoing.

Earlier this week, police said the showroom suffered "significant" damage during the raid.

A white Audi RS3 with registration plate YF65 XLP and another black Audi S3 with the registration number GU63 NGN are still missing.

Mk4 R32 is not a bad car they sound great probably not as good as your v8. I test drove a few mk4’s a couple years ago but went for the mk5 r32 instead

Check this james bond scary stuff out, at least i know the battery is flat now !!

https://www.trackershop-uk.com/products/magnetic-gps-trackers/bond-5800/

And this is how some of the ******* are stealing high value cars.

The sellers are just as bad as the criminals, it’s like the people on amazon that sell all the relay tools to boost signals from keys to open cars with keyless entry.

Yeah ok, there maybe the odd buyer that wants the equipment for legitimate reasons but what about the rest?

The country is going to the dogs, no law enforcement, no police and overrun with scum bags.

I genuine worry for my 3 year old son when he’s my age.

Professional scumbags drive a short distance to somewhere quiet , scan for and remove trackers anyway .

I never thought I'd be writing this but I have become a victim of car theft.
I was parked about fifty yards away from a busy road in a residential area and in broad daylight all that remained of my majestic V8 4.2 litre powered S5 was a pile of glass,in the space of three hours it was taken away.

@voorhees - Another thats spotted this thread late
Gutted for you Jase :(
I think my thoughts on what should be done to these vermin are well documented, so I won't go any further

I have a wanted list
A3 saloon,A class,Golf….all in auto and maybe a few sporty bits :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:
Leasing seems the obvious way but my company do a salary sacrifice scheme which works for me also.
Getting jacked or stolen will be a worry but not without a struggle..one time is enough for me.

In one piece or has it been stripped ? Will you be getting it back?

No details and no I don't think it is coming back

My insurance has settled with a reasonable figure for the car and also gave me some money towards the cargo I had in there (sparco boot tidy, helmets, vagcom with laptop, fitness tracker etc)

I look forward to searching for a new car but having an 03 R32 as a loaner from my mate means I have time on my hands.
voorhees,

I'm glad things have worked out for you.

Now time to look for that New Machine of your choice. :hi:

What is auto ghost?

Can bus blocker.

When fitted to a car it can only be started by a series of owner defined button presses, utilising the vehicles buttons ( dash/steering/door buttons) etc

Even if thief has the keys it can’t be started.

Omg!!! That seems awesome!!! Do you know where I can buy this and how much is it? My a3 sline got stolen last month. The ***** broke into the house and took the keys. Also what if I forgotten the button press pattern? Is it like phone unlocks? Like if you press the incorrect pattern 3 times the car alarm will go off? If yes that is freaking amazing!

There is a complex series of over ride buttons if you forget the code. I've not forgotten it once in 3 years or so though so unlikely I'd say.

There is also a valet mode so you can give it to the service guys with no code required.

Had one fitted to my A4 for quite a while now.

After a few days entering the ignition code becomes 2nd nature. Be hard to forget it.

Most auto alarm installers can supply and fit it and there £400. Take about 20 to 30 mins to install.

New wagen arrival.
Golf R in Tornado Red with Spielberg alloys (like his films as well as his alloys)
All options ticked what amount to anything…noise is down on the R32 and the V8 but I've done the more cylinder route.
This thing moves rather sharpish :D

They can also remove from one car (when sold) and move it to the next for less than that.

Scumbags breed scumbags and sadly they tend to have more kids than the average decent family, so eventually they get everywhere...they are like a plague!
