When I removed my boot cover from the 5door for the 3rd time, 2 of these silver clips got stuck inside the car. You can use tweezers to push them but I can’t get them out. How do you squeeze them out?

NOTE; Photo is only to shoe which clips I’m talking about. They’re stuck inside the car boot door.

They just slide out bit fiddly but will come out

Man, my fingers hurt so much. You can barely grab them with plyers and when you do they just jump back. You can’t grab them :(.

Ok if you can get a flat screwdriver under one side then get hold with pliers. I've had mines off nuff times. Or try long nose pliers from inside lid should be enough space Dont matter if you break em cheap to replace.

pick up a pair of needle nose pliers. They should be thin enough to grip the clip from the side of the cutout. Then pull solidly out.

A more challenging method is to use screw drivers to compress the clip on both sides and then angle them out to push the clip out of the cut out. Pliers are the best bet. Cheers.

Once I grab the clips to compress them it seems like the triangle side (the one that’s inside) is big enough to pull...
