Hi.

New here, parted with the old A4 b9 for an A6 c7.5.

One thing I've noticed is that the front parking sensors do not fire up unless reverse is selected, so I get I can press the button, but i also read that using vcds they can be coded to switch on automatically at low speed.

'Enable automatic activation of parking tones when approaching obstacle
Select STG 10 (parking aid)
STG access authorization - Select function 16
Enter access code 71679
STG coding -> Select function 07
Select Byte 3
Enable Bit 4'

Has anyone managed to do this? If so can you point me in the right direction to get to the first part STG 10?

Cheers

This is interesting and I would also like to know if this is possible.

Not given up on this yet ...

Rhyso, I think you are correct it's a module. When I looked again for 10 parking aid, it did not exist. I did find a park/brake assist, but the module did not respond.

Next attempt, update to latest vcds, and try again.

I had the latest VCDS when I tried it after you posted and it didn't work. I suspect you will need a newer module :(

I have the Parking Aid module fitted and listed as No 10 as per your original post

But then whenever your in traffic they would come on , It'll drive you nuts !

I have that feature on my wife's A3 and I've only had it come on in traffic a couple of times. I don't think you will ever get the feature working on the A6, from what I know it does not have the software to support the feature.
