Hi All,

Totally missed this gaping hole on the cam cover breather hose but unsure if an OEM or Silicone replacement is required?

I guess this would not help the car run nicely!?

Either... silicone will degrade over time due to oil anyway... anything other than black tends to discolour too...

Any recommendations? I was on the Forge website but could not find the APY engine listed?

Honestly don't recall the last one I have seen fitted to an APY or most any other 1.8t... most people and fitted catch cans and done thier own pipework...

I don't think the silicone offers much more over OE one tbh other than aesthetics (maybe... you can get an AMK/BAM one to fit of course or there are all sorts of PCV bits for 1.8t's on eBay as the engine is more or less the same no matter what engine code

Thanks for the pointers - will attempt to extract whats left of my current hose and find a part number!
