Hey guys, just signed up to the forums looking for idea's and mod's after recently purchasing an A6 C7. I have quite a few things I want to do so advice would be greatly appreciated.

So to start it's a 2012 A6 C7 Saloon with 64000 genuine miles. It's full S-Line with all your usual gadgets. It also has electric folding mirrors and electric boot lid and also interior touchpad and led's under all exterior door handles. If anyone can tell me what packages my car had from the factory, that would be cool! I think it may have lighting package and also Tech package?

Anyways the rear 3 windows are tinted but not as dark as I'd like so I will be getting them done fully black.

Car is sitting on 20" Veeman VM1 in Copper Bronze colour which I'm undecided If I like or get them sprayed gloss black to match my overall theme I'm going for.

I'm planning on getting the RS6 front grille and also Maxton design lip kit all round.

My main concern is the rear of the car I eventually want to put a more aggressive style quad tip exhaust exit but the selection of diffusers for the Saloon is very poor. I'm thinking maybe having one custom made with 3 'fins' in gloss black to make it aggressive looking.

Anyways here's a pic of the car!

A lot of people plastidip the chrome window/grille surrounds.

Bulldog, Buxton and Ali (among others) have put up threads about the mods they’ve done, including some you’ve mentioned. None of those are white cars though.

You definitely have the Technology Pack if you have the touchpad. If you download the MyAudi app and register, it will give you a full list of the standard & optional extras your car was species with.

Good luck with the planning & modding.

That app is pretty neat, just downloaded it and set it up. Shows MMI touch and also Interior and Exterior Lighting package just as I thought + the folding mirrors and auto boot which is rare in 2012 model I read?

I like that grille but I'd like it with the chrome audi rings but everything else blacked out. Only problem is the front license plate takes the look off it.

I was definitely debating debadging the audi rings on the rear I think it would look either weird or pretty slick. Current black rings are faded anyway so I might take it off and see if I want a new one or not :)

Hi mate. Lovely car you have there.
Personally I dont like the fully debadged rear look and think that black rings on a white Audi is the best combination.
I have the other front grille with the quattro at the bottom. Which I have since took off lol.
My car is getting some RS6 performance wheels fitted today which I'm quite excited about. Good luck with your mods and check out my build thread for everything I've done to mine

Thanks! Yours is looking very nice too. I've already read through most of your thread by the way love seeing what other people are doing to theirs. Yeah I think you're right about the gloss black audi badge for the rear think that would be my best bet on the white. As for the grille I've seen one I like its gloss black honeycomb grille with gloss black audi rings.

That looks very clean bud.

So I'm going to order the black honeycomb grill on Monday and am thinking about options on where to mount my front numberplate. I don't want to mount it on the grill so maybe on either side of the bumper somehow or lower grills section.

How hard was this to install. Looks wicked

Depends, if front facing just lift off and put new one on, there is an RS6 leaver thread that has info on a sideways fit.

Mines a facelift so front facing. What sort of price am I looking at? I found 2, £140 and &200. Seems expensive.

Sorry to highjack.

AliExpress, I paid £65, then £12 vat and handling.

Plastic trim removal tools to free the gaiter from the chrome surround. Then pull leaver forwards and lift. Fitting is the reversal. Just be careful not to press the button. If you get one I can do a step by step.

It's a little shorter too, which is a bonus.
