Hi all,

Do I need a new battery, car never fails to start, but does turn over for a while first start of the day.

Here's a pic of my battery not sure how to work out how old it is lol...

The battery is 8 years old and as such is showing it's age. Looks to be the original battery to me. May last another few years but it's possible that at some point it will let you down. More than likely when you really need the car. It is an 096 type AGM battery.

Varta make Bosch batteries so as such they are identical. Bosch always cost a little more.
I would go for the Varta if you are thinking of keeping the car for a few more years. If not the Exide is a good battery and is cheaper.

Thanks for the reply, I thought as much but just wanted another pair of eyes. I've just reserved in a local store so will pick up later - appreciate the reply.

lol shall I help or not hmmmmmmmm

I had this cold starting problem, and it really helped by replacing these two fuel hoses. The hose is £4 from Halfords
My hose had perished and was sucking in air
8mm you need and a sharp blade and some pliers
