A4 b7 footwell lights install

Hi i would like to place footwell lights because my car I don't have this lights.
Has anyone posted? And he can give me instructions on how to place them.

DO a search lots of information on this, I ended up wiring mine from the light switch but included an isolation switch so I can control if they come on or not when the lights are on. To wire them so they open when the doors do you need a harness and VCDS to code the module that controls this function.

Did you get the lights installed? If so, how did you do it? Just curious about where you took power from & how you’re controlling them. I’ve started doing the footwell lights (& also the puddle & marker lights in the doors) but will be doing it the OEM way to avoid any adverse loading.
