Hi,

I've had a few threads about this and left them at various stages. Long story short I get very poor radio reception. I replaced the booster with another one (which I can only presume is a working one) and it is no different.

The next suggestion was to get a cheap aerial and plug that in and see if it makes any difference.

Where would I plug it in to test?

Cheers

What diagnostics can I do? I have the Carly for VAG but I don't think that has any diagnostics for the radio.

Have you got any errors on the car pertaining to the radio?

Running what diagnostics what I can run, there's nothing to do with the radio flagging up.

Strange, glass issue maybe if no antenna connection issues

Is there a specific reader I need to read any radio errors? I've used the Carly just now and there are no errors. Would that have shown any radio issues?

If it is a glass issue how to get it fixed? Could their be a break in the antenna?

Carly may need a full license to read errors, you didn’t say if you have this. Depending on your car and equipment you could have up to 3 antenna modules in the rear screen and rear side windows. We have no model or year or spec to work from.
I would run a scan with VCDS (Or full version of Carly) , if there are any antenna issues it should report them.

Sorry I forgot to mention I have the full version of Carly and the accompanying Bluetooth dongle. That has shown no errors at all to do with the radio.
