Chipping my car - how much more HP could i get?

I have the 2.0d Technik which has the tdie engine. I know it was designed for lower emissions and better economy (although the better economy is very questionable) is there much mechanical difference between my engine and the other 2.0d engines which are more powerful and quicker?

Is it all mapping? If I get it remapped how much power reliably could I get?
 
What BHP is your car just now? I have the black edition 2.0 TDi 177 BHP was speaking to guy who does MRC tuning in my neck of the woods and I could get up to around 220 BHP with a re-map I just fitted a tuning box as my car is under warranty and feel a massive difference with that in easy to install and remove 2 connectors they reckon on the website I could get up to 230BHP
 
I think the one I have is the 140bhp? Im not sure. It feels slow.
 
Check DTUK diesel running box’s you can enter your reg in and it will tell you your options. Where are you based if you want a re-map I highly recommend MRC tuning

Check out Superchips, BlueFin, I had good results on my previous A4 143bhp & A5 177bhp, both TDI's.

Celtic Tuning did the below for me. Runs great and no problems in the last 2 yrs.

Audi A4 (B8) 2.0 TDI CR 1968 cc 2008 170 bhp
Tuning Stage: Stage 1: 227 bhp 311 lb/ft
 
I had on with 120ps and 290Nm. After optimizing it had 180ps and 370Nm torque. In your case 185 should be easy, possibly a bit more.
TDIe is 136ps.
 
Yes. I had to replace it with the DMF. But my car was already 180000km driven, so it was coming anyways.
 
You want to know real figures or facebook figures?
Real figures are something like 210hp / 490nm with dpf off thats with EGT's close to 880deg WOT in 4th

Other may claim more but often its just BS with EGT protection turned off.
