Don’t need any LSP, just the ceramic.
My small bottle of BH autofoam has lasted a year and still plenty left, so don’t think there is any need to measure it out Col, just my personal opinion

The one thing I do measure is Snowfoam. I paid £20 for 950ml at Halfrauds so seems sensible not to over dose the mixture. Really good foam though. Incidentally Halfords are selling it for £14 right now.

Can't say I measure shampoo though. Just a good old technical "glug" I'm the wash bucket

True, much rather apply was every week only for it to be "burnt" off, my mistake

Wait til yer single stage ceramic wears off on the above mentioned panels just for you to repeat the same process again...nothings permanent

@jassyo06 between Reset and Q2M Bathe+, which one to go for. I have always used Reset but given how much you rave about Bathe+ I am tempted to try it out... Or should I ...

Also, running out of SF, again been a big fan of BH SF, which I have been using for years but wouldn't hesitate to try out a new thing. Oh, and SurfexHD needs ordering as well. So, overall three things to order and also interested in SurfexHD's replacement if there is one as good as BH....

Here’s one for ya guys. I used Meg’s hybrid ceramic wax about a month ago, still beading really well.
So started washing the car. And noticed the shampoo stripped most of the beading capabilities

Pre wash
AB magifoam in lance, Fallout remover didn’t strip it

The shampoo I used was AB Purple Velvet, which they say is safe on wax n sealants. Any one else experienced this?

I did reapply megs hcw again.

The pre wash combo..must have weakened it...then the shampoo finished it off...getting a month durability from a spray on wax is above average durability

I recall John at Forensic Detailing doing a video on Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax . Pretty sure his conclusion was that durability had a lot to do with how it's applied .

Might be worth a watch. Not saying you have applied it wrong. As @jassyo06 said could be the prewash / shampoo combo .

I might get shot here for saying but hey ho, I'll say it . I think Pro would be a better option for you due to the option of using smaller plates. The advantage Pro+ has over Pro is that the throw allows you to cut faster and cover more area. Both these are really good machines, you can't go wrong with either of them.

I have a pro. Works fine.

Lol thanks I've attached a "pro" edit of the areas I'm on about, if you think the Pro plus will do these fine then suppose it makes sense to get the Pro plus as it'll get the job done quicker.

You can polish the headlights so don’t worry about hitting them.

Yes I watched that vid and applied it just like he did. Spray and spread with a wet mf foam pad then buff off. That’s why I’m a bit puzzled

I was thinking this but it was still beading strong after the prewash treatments. Maybe I used to strong a shampoo mix.

I decided to order some kit from ultimate finish ie all Fireball gear ...but l phone them firstly and it so happens for some reason they have stopped selling the brand...they didnt say why....so that was me scuppered,l wanted to try the kamikaze kit...but to be honest...l dont need any other products....to take advantage of the offer
To be honest l thought the Fireball products where top notch their perceived quality of products where in the same league as gyeon/Gtechniq if not higher...so need to find somewhere else that keep Fireball in stock...

A little goes a long way mate, quality stuff,it'll bring the external rubber window surrounds on the sportback back as new...its curing time is around a few hours...if it rains before its cured the rain will remove it,great for the external scuttle at the base of the wipers too
