Inspection Reset

Advice gratefully received....!!

I had the A3 serviced at a non franchise garage. I can reset the service warning from the MMI screen but not the "Inspection Due" warning. The bonging sound each time you get in the car is annoying now!

If I buy this tool, will I be able to reset it myself...?

Why not take it back to the garage and get them to do the reset. It should have been part of the service.

Carista can do this.... I think! I know it can defo do service and I recently looked at all the options whilst playing around with the app and remember I was surprised to see the inspection reset part. Either that or I’m mistaken.

Don't know about obdeleven, but you can certainly do it with Carista.

And when you've done that, you can use it to set all your windows to open (and close) from fifty yards away while you hide in a shrub, sweep your needles, wind back the pistons in your rear calipers whenever the mood takes you, have the car do a weedy little chirp when you lock and unlock it and have it make you a brew, though that requires the Goblin Teasmade app*.

* iOS and. Android.

I think you mean the Google Teasmade app.

Check out Amazon instead. It used to be that the dongle was cheaper and you also got 1 month free access so you don’t have to set up a yearly membership
