Dreaded bird poo paint damage

Hi all, just got back off holiday and the car had a splattering of bid s!!t. Got it all off, but a couple of the offending patches have left a sort of crazed mark which seems to be below the clearcoat surface. I have tried polishing the marks out but cant get rid of them.....any suggestions ??

Try the DA in them first with some compound.

If that doesn’t work you can always try the hot air method if brave enough.

Thanks for the video. Looks like I will be trying that then as the polisher ain't touched the marks.

Does it look like a blister/clear scab? I' tried everything when I had one on the black S3, in the end some meguiars ultimate compound on a MF got it off.

Yes ....that's exactly what it looks like.... ****** horrible.

I removed some recently with Meguiars 205 and a lot of elbow grease. But think you said you'd already polished with no luck?

Yeah.... the marks look like they are actually in the clear coat.... not on the surface
