There is what looks to be a dual speaker box , triangular in shape , with curved lower face, takes up most of the space , it must be from this, but , as yet its not obvious , as to where it fits ...

I don't know**, its the bose system
the box has two speakers on the rear
face

[**just googled the part number and this came back, so yes , if the audi has one speaker , this must be
one of the aftermarket parts ]

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A3-Subwoofer-8l-Models-8l0-035-381-G-/283443921271

The amp + cables a in the off side rear wing

the bracket has a audi part number- BDK 8L0 035 318

At he moment everything is back in , nothing moves , might be from the back of the unit ?

but of homer Simpson moment DUH

moral take pictures before ...

hiya the bracket is for the sub woofer speaker in the wheel well took mine out a few week ago and finished up with the bracket left and had a devil of a job figuring it out to replace good luck

The $64,000 question , did you find where it came from in the end , or is it still , yet to be returned to its original location ?

and what was the door locking pump cable tied too , it was held by a single tie wrap , but round what ?
are there any exploded views of the car inertia ???

If i remember right when I was changing my alarm siren the cable tie was wrapped round a bit of foam and the pump and it just sat at the back on its own.

Yes , Mine was, was it just pushed in to the space , odd , but the foam is perished , rips if you touch it ..
but, progress, that puts the bracket somewhere else ..-)
Tnx G
