Thats my dream to drive to germany with the mrs and go on the nurburgring i spent over £5k in a year building my Honda accord type R for the ring, then sold it for the mercedes (7 seater) as a forth child was on the way before we got to go :-(.

Maybe this b7 has potential down the line to go one day....a lot of work is required before that though.

Its well worth doing, even better on a bike but that's a whole different discussion.

I sold the aprilia rsv and got the kids a quad so unfortunately thats not an option anymore plus thats thing was hard to ride its such and aggressive riding position that a 300 mile day with 90% fast racing with track & tt riders round wales was an adrenaline rush but flipping hard work on my wrists! Let alone going to germany lol

I know the feeling all too well, one day when I get a Desmosedici RR i'll take it there, albeit in a van.

Coming along :icon thumright:, but you really need to do something with that splitter, it doesn't do the front end any favour to be honest, maybe if it was a better fit .
I think the front end would look much nicer without it in its current form, just an observation .

Was going to sort it today but ran out of time. Is coming off tomorrow and getting a couple o coats of Matt black and a slimming down of the middle pegs

This is something I definitely want to do could you tell me how you did it? Im assuming it has a chip inside you can swap over to the new key? And is it the case of just getting that blade cut the same?

All swaps over including the blade

Ahh nice! I shall be ordering one of them i like the little things like that, my key looks like its been through a few wars and for some unknown reason the audi rings have decided to run away.

Bought a load of new wheel bolts as the old ones had started to round off with age.

But new ones was very shiny and new as you can see in the pics. Therefore, I needed to make them Matt black to go with the wheels.

Fitted them to mine a few weeks ago, cheaper to get some of them than just tinted ones! Happy days

I've never had a tow hitch on any car EVER.

The Audi A4 Avant b7....... does, so thought I'd tidy it up.

A few more little jobs. Just got back from a 500 Mile drive, used 40 litres of fuel. Works out at over 60mpg

Fitted the Audi rings and cleaned my seats. You cannot really tell in the pics, but the seats was very very dirty.

Also fitted my Audi sunscreen

Yeah I'm torn between the two tbh gloss black would give it a more sleek look but i think it will scratch easy, and carbon looks like its trying to be an rs4 but it does look cool and will hold up longer i think......

The wrap would deffo hold up better but would be so hard to fit perfectly onto the trims

The way I see it, go black spray for now and wrap it later once it's looking poor and scratched up

depends on what door trim you have really, I find the brushed ally trim the best one , the fish scale ones are naff and unless you get the oem carbon trims the brushed ally ones are best.
Did you know the brushed ally ones are in very short supply and command good resale value if they are in very good cond, just something to keep in mind when you all start painting them and making them all but useless.

My brushed alloy look trims are NOT in a very good condition at all. I'm deffo happy with them Matt black but I'm also thinking of redoing them in an anthracite Grey or an alloy wheel look colour.
