What do you hate???

I hate........

Like this morning, my commute through some think fog was met with the usual collection of idiots who either had no lights on or only front LEDs and no rears. Many I'm sure are unaware that they have no rear lights on, never mind only front LEDs not being sufficient. Are these people totally brainless! Don't answer that :whistle2:

I hate,

My courtesy car from Audi. This morning the rear wiper would not stop despite being on the off setting. Can't wait to get my car back tomorrow. Will be inspecting it carefully to ensure if they washed my car theres no scratches.

People who say “ we gave it 110%” - it’s impossible!

People who use “literally” when they mean figuratively.

Finally, there’s been loads of car thefts in our area recently (particularly German cars). I actually scared some people off from our road when I saw them lurking on people’s driveways last week. I was quite glad that my car doesn’t have the engine badge on it, but anybody can see what engine is under the bonnet by typing it into Kwitfit.com or eurocarparts. I don’t think people should be able to look it up that easily.

Weapons grade stupidity. I was walking along a path the other day and some pikey had done a bit of fly tipping in the middle so there was a load of junk piled up. I walked around the pile and a bloke coming the other way asked me if the path was blocked. I just looked at him and said " You just saw me walk around it, didn't you?!"

He replied "Oh yeah" in the voice of a halfwit. You know the one.

Not that it happened to me but a few people I know have gone to see the new Avengers film and pr!cks have been shouting spoilers to people outside the cinemas. 1 person told me the guy shouting at our local cinema then got beaten up.

I'm so bored of superhero movies. All effects and no story. I didn't like the first Avengers one and haven't seen the others.

I've trimmed down my Marvel movie collection to two. Logan and Thor: Ragnarok. The rest (and there weren't that many) are in the charity shop.

Blasphemy!!!!!

Iron man 3 and Antman & the Wasp were not great but I loved the rest of them. Latest 2 Avengers you gotta see

The guy caught nr Stranraer texting while riding a motor bike *** he got /is getting points and a fine , He should be banned for a minimum of 6 months , The law is wrong , texting and riding imo is miles worse than text driving (That is bad enough ) I know what the roads are like there and he is very lucky not to have come off his bike into a crater .
 
Fuel prices!
I know they differ in areas of the country but unleaded appears to have risen 10p a litre in a short space of time.
Wonder what they're justification is this time? Brexit, oil, inflation, the royal baby etc........ (all lies!)

Don’t use a lot of the stuff now, but did notice today filling up it was 124p and thought it had gone up a bit.
It’s only made down the road *** so should be cheap lol

Yesterday my 14 year old and I were cycling to a secondary school to see my youngest play tennis. Somehow we lost each other half way along the route. I double back to see if I could find him, but he was nowhere to be seen. I couldn’t call him because he didn’t have his phone(that’s another story)

Anyhow I carried on to the school to watch my youngest play thinking my eldest would be there by now. The courts were in the rear field.

I then got a phone call from home. It was my eldest explaining he went to the school, couldn’t find the tennis courts so asked someone. They didn’t know, so he asked if he could borrow their phone to call his mum who was at the courts. They said no, so he proceeded home.

Now if he was looking for a court in a town somewhere, I would have some sympathy, but he was actually in the school grounds. I found them within about a minute, not knowing the grounds at all.

Tonight ,my wife said to him, go into the bottom left hand corner of your dads wardrobe and get the sewing kit. The reply was I can’t find it. Guess where it was, albeit under my trainers.

Why is it we grew up relying on logic and common sense yet kids today rely on technology?

I would have thought the school should have let him use the phone to make 1 call , It could have been a child safety issue after all , how were they to know it wasn't?
Poor show by the school I would say.

I don’t think it was somebody from the school, it was closed other than the grounds.

Hmm my neighbour behind me. I don't know if not all his dogs are barking or he is doing it to wind me up?

I'm sure i've ranted about him before and the last argument me and him had I told him to stay away from me and all my properties and if he is going to hit me then make sure you kill me. He spat at me and walked off so that was it and we just ignore each other.

Couple weeks ago i'm having one of my rental flats painted by my sister and brother in-law. I told them that if this idiot comes by tell him I said keep away and any issue let me know. Apparently the day they start work (i'm at work) he calls in the flat to talk to them and ask what's being done to the flat???!!!! Now my sister is the total opposite of me and there telling me what a nice guy he is? I explain what a head case he is and why we fell out.

Now this morning i've got workmen there and my wife is dealing with them (Last year he screamed at her in the middle of the street saying 'your husband is a f**king c**t) he walks on to our land with cups of tea for the workman while she's there.

Just think he has a deathwish. Given 2 opportunities to sort the issue out betweens us both but he just looks but he won't. I just don't know how he can even have the balls to walk on our land after spitting at me and saying its not ours when it clearly was!!!!
 
In the present climate of sexual equality and quite rightly so, at my work it's ok for female staff to address me as "Honey", "Sweetheart" or something of that ilk but when I greet them "hello sugartits " i'm the one who gets into trouble!:wink:

The Wife.
She’s only gone and scuffed another alloy. Her excuse was there was a bus stopped on the other side so I had to hit the curb to get pass.

And she never told me until I noticed it today when washing it.

My wife is a very good and careful driver, but never defensive enough, so gets pushed around, alloy wheel damagewise, only I have marked the wheels on her car, the worst, so far that she has done is to get kerb markings on a sidewall a few times - but that "never happened" so I don't know who/why these marks got there when she was driving her car!

Envy Tax...

Banded Income Tax, Stamp Duty, Council Tax and Road fund licence.

So essentially, paying more Tax for being RELATIVELY successful... with the money you've already paid an elevated rate of tax on!

So everything I buy out of my income, is in fact more expensive than the National average 2.4 households, not to mention the additional tax credits I'm excluded from.

Stick in, work hard and you'll do well Kids...

Yeah 40% tax is a bitch makes you not want to work when you hit it but then you lose out anyway, it should be a flat rate of tax no matter what your earnings, I’m working more hours a year and paying more tax so essentially my hourly rate is less than the lazy ones at work all because I put the hours in

the shoddy excuse for resurfacing a road thats happening on every road around my village currently, the ol' loose chippings method.

What, my 5 bedroom house is called ----- well maybe nothing, just a number, took me long enough to get a number plate that was acceptable to me, never mind giving it a name and trying to get a plate made up.

Not too bad in my case, quite a steep long driveway, rising upwards from the garage to the road, mostly other peoples coloured chips that they laid on level areas that seem to "wander". Gravel/chips are cheap to use, and maybe better in winter time, but I end up sweeping/clearing the chips to one side when snow clearing, I might try getting tarmac laid down as that should be less of a thermal store than wet chips, ie my driveway can become almost permafrost in bad parts of winter, top layer of snow/ice only slightly melting during a few hours of higher daytime temperatures, then getting dragged back down below freezing point by the layer of rubble etc below it as the sun never reaches it in wintertime, not good!
