looking to take off the ramair induction kit that came with the car i recently got (2007 2.0tfsi) and went to fit the standard airbox back on and it seems to be missing a rubber sleeve or something that goes on the oe intake pipe to secure it on properly as now it just flops around when secured on the engine end?

Best to post a pic off where you think your missing something as pic helps us get a picture off the part .

On my Tsfi that looks like a spring clip which attaches said hose to Turbo if I am not mistaken , but if it ain't am sure someone will be along to put me right lol

I have the intake pipe and the spring clip(which is a ****** to get off!) but where that pipe slides over im pretty sure there is a rubber bit that slides in first, as now if i try to put it on its just floppy

There is a rubber seal that joins the pipe from turbo to airbox next to maf sensor where it has 2 clips which pull it together

Yes, it's the end that fits to the Turbo, and the oval shape attaches to the airbox just after they MAF with the two clips.

Maybe if i order whole pipe it will come with it then
I'm not sure it does, I did originally post a number for a pipe that I thought had it included, but after checking further I couldn't see it.
That part is only £10 on ebay, but call a dealer to confirm it's the right part for your engine as I can't be 100% sure.

@Jamesh87 - when I sold my factory cover I thought I'd lost this exact piece - it's like a sleeve that sits onto the turbo, then the plastic down pipe slides over. For me, it was wedged into the main piece of down pipe - worth a check?

How come you reverting to standard airbox......do you not like the ram Air?

Gaz

just prefer the standard airbox less noise, feels like
Less torque with the ramair too, car is completely standard maybe different with a map but that isnt going to happen anytime soon

where abouts are you? I would of swapped you my standard set up for your Ram Air set up?
