Would like to say it looks really good, but another guff photo

I have Tom much energy? And you spend 8 hours on this? I spent 5 on JCW and only got mini DA out for rear gloss black trim. Treated rubber seals with Swissvax, and polished and coated glass

After probably 6-8 weeks finally gave the S4 a wash. Bilt Hamber Auto Wash. Spot fixed some bird poo etching on the bonnet with Meguiars 205 by hand. Topped with Gyeon Cure.

9 weeks since the last wash. Flippin 9 weeks and the car was filthy as shi*te. Like proper filthy. So, left work early and attacked the inside first. Interior cleaned with Sonax interior cleaner (fabric/alcantara one) and washed the mats with SurfexHD as I have rubber mats.

Tyres, arches and lower sills also cleaned with SurfexHD and alloys with BH Alloy wheel cleane

I recently picked up Dodojuice snowfoam from my detailer and tbh, I am disappointed with the product. It might be 'safe' on cc cars but it has ZERO cleaning ability. Back to BH SF from next wash

The car was SF'd twice however, I mixed SurfexHD in it. I know it is recommended not to but I wanted better cleaning so, all recommendations were duly ignored

Car was then washed twice as well with CarPro Reset and sprayed and washed with CarPro Hydro2. @jassyo06 I tried really hard but couldn't find any spotting, at all

@Jimbob76 and @X3man, can I rejoin now.

Was meant to be preparing to clean the S5 but Audi decided to wash my car despite me telling them not to, was fuming.

Oops! Tis annoying mate, very annoying. Clearly tells you that there is no communication between teams at the stealership.

As 'hobbyist detailers' here on the forum there isn't a better sight than that of clean cars especially when the sun is shining

Got to agree with you @Tashfeen

Love seeing cleans cars in quality bright sunlight. Both looking amazing by the way!

Etching to get my cleaned tomorrow morning, going to be far to hot for any detailing on Saturday.

Cue the usual quips from the neighbours about washing theirs.

@A4A4 definitely mañana weather for detailing. The only coating I'm applying is SPF 30! :)

Completely agree mate and precisely the reason I washed them beforehand. Not sure how long will the sun last so, making the most of it while it does .

Tis going to be BarBQ and perhaps a visit to Burton-on-Water on Sat/Sunday. And then wash them again next week

Tell me about it mate. I get to hear it all the time. The typical ones are:

1- You really like washing your cars
2- You spend long hours washing your cars
3- You have been washing your car for the last 3 hours
4- I went to supermarket, did my grocery, came back and you still haven't finished washing your car
5- It is raining tomorrow

Found some stubborn marks on the bonnet so had to DA them. Clayed, 2 X passes of polish and a quick wax later...

6- You’re gonna wash the paint off that car (as I’m applying a coat of wax/sealant - so adding a layer :shutup2:)
7- You can do mine next if you want? I don’t want - you couldn’t afford my rates and your car is too far gone for me to bother with. Is what I want to say, lol. Maybe next week (with a grimaced smile) is my usual retort.

Joking aside I do find washing the motors a good way to have a quick natter with neighbours (with the perfect no offence excuse of, ‘right I’d better crack on’ to end the conversation when it gets dull, lol. Apart from Councillor ‘Clive’ from 2 doors down. He’s a right ****.

Washed. No pictures, but it did happen. Looks the same as every time I post pics after cleaning her! Need to find some good locations for ‘drama’ shots other than my drive.

Didn’t spend long on the car - was keen to crack on with Man Cave improvement project. Made a good start. Still to make, paint and fit a score-board and some kind of storage solution for arrows, chalk, calculator (hate doing minus sums, lol), etc. I’ve over-engineered the backing board, not because I’m completely **** at hitting the target, but because the kids will be! Need to re-position the clock as well before anyone comments (turned that on a lathe in craft class at school when I was 13, so 30-plenty years ago - used Letraset for the numbers, lol).

Yes very true. Oh to have white or silver

Impressed with Gyeon Tire Express. One coat, dries quickly to nice finish and no sling. Very little needed on applicator sponge

I was out at 8 doing mine under the car port. Wife said it was to early to fire up the Kranzle wtf lol.

Mate, the kranzle is SO quiet compared to my K5, but as the announcer at the nearby polo grounds started announcing sh@t at 7:45, I reckoned I was ok @8am
