Really don't like new Dash-board

Hello guys
Obviousl yam coming from 8p audi a3 2011 and have now 8v 2015
Do you find 8V dash bit annoying??
Time and date missing straight away miles and driven miles missing straight when you look you have no time messing swiping with roller .. Once you change it to date then digital speedometer will go away .. faceplam . PITA! (pain in the ***)
8p dash was just spot on :-/
Can be time added along with digital spedometer?

Time is on MMI screen and don't see why you need to know the mileage at all times. Never needed to know the date either.

So no, not bothered

There was a post on here couple of weeks ago actually from someone who was convinced their car had had a VC upgrade (which was taken back out) but think it was established it hadn’t. Anyway, I think it would be easier/cheaper to change cars than try changing it.

No. In fifty years of driving I cannot recall wanting or needing my car to tell me the date.

Really ? cheaper? what upgrading virtual cocpit cost £15.000 ?(car value)
Somone retrofitted it..

I meant the difference in price of one with and one without. So say there was one for sale exactly the same with VC for 16k and u could get 15k for yours then price would be 1k. Obviously that’s very unlikely to happen though.

??? With the MMI set to phone the current time is still displayed in the bottom left corner.

If you choose to keep the display down for some reason OK but you can not really then complain that you cannot see it.

I have the time permanently displayed on my dashboard with the MMI turned off.

It's been a long time since I had the digital speedo up so can't remember which part of the display it occupies......but does it not replace the part where my mpg is?
I have had 2 cars with only a digital speedometer and that was absolutely fine, but when digital is an option along with conventional analogue one of them will be redundant.....and in that situation my eyes are always drawn to analogue.

What are your must haves for permanent display at the same time?

i think it replaces both parts from your photo, mpg and time display. I think it actually adds an extra menu that you can scroll through, it's quite slim but does not have the time option. really this is a 1st world problem. Never needed to know the time so desperately that I couldn't either look to the left to see the MMi or look at my watch! A ridiculous argument in my opinion!

8p dash shows nicely time and dig speedmeter
