Looking at doing this mod. Seen a video and guides it involves heating the plastic rod so it goes from side to front position.
There is one horror story of a guy who's rod ended up snapping after some time after doing the mod. Looks like he heated it too much by the colour of the plastic. Just wondered what everyone's thoughts are? I'm quite risk averse so would be up for doing it.
Wondered if anyone who did it somehow added any reinforcement after doing it to strengthen it?
Also, if anyone has done it, have you encountered any issues? Sticking button etc or is it smooth as the original?
Likely an ebay purchase but not finding any S4 logo versions just S-Tronic so if anyone has links to an S4 version?
