Recommendations for Hybrid turbo work

Hi Everyone.

I’m looking for a company to send my standard turbo off to. In America they have silly rabbit motorsport milling out the turbine housing to fit a Garrett GTx3582 CHRA. Does anyone have any previous experience with people who do this?

I managed to get a turbo from someone for a bargain of £124 and it’s only covered 2k

Not really to be honest hard to find stuff on these new engines to be honest. What sort of info you looking for?

Are you going to use a standalone ECU to manage this new turbo?

I have the Jb4 tuning box so will will use that.

Will a tuning box alter ECU settings though as the thing about them is they don't access the ecu. Have you sought technical information about your mod?

The guys over in America have managed to do it one guy is on this forum with the Garrett turbo.

Here is a thread on it with very good info. They have managed to break into 10seconds on the 1/4 miles with all other supporting mods.

I did see that thread. They have done well with the 2.0l engine. Just a shame the S4 hasn’t progressed as fast. Thanks.
