Hello

I've scanned and scanned through the forums looking for a guide or photos of anyone that has either just blanked or completely removed the egr and cooler unit has anyone done this mod and can show me what you have done? I have the delete kit coming from darkside.

The egr in question is the one seated on the side of the engine just above the turbo

I'm pretty sure you will have to gut or remove the DPF as well as the regeneration uses the EGR to raise the temperatures in the DPF. That's sounds like the EGR cooler above the turbo, your EGR valve is normally on the intake manifold along with the anti shudder valve.

You'll have to code the EGR out with vagcom and also code the DPF out as well.

I was wanting to do this also but dont want rid of Dpf for mot reasons.
