What did you do to your audi today

Not an advert but I cannot believe how good they fit. Just as good as OEM but look better.

£33.88. They are on sale. Cut out the middle man and go direct to China, I didn't get stung for any tax.

Easy to fit ?
Absolutely!
Takes a bit of fiddling to get the covers off but nothing major... Then swapping the strips is super easy...

Don't think you can use PayPal. I just used my card. I've Had 10+ items from them to date and only one problem. They sent the wrong indicators. I opened a dispute eBay style and was refunded 80% of the cost but didn't have to return the item. Sold them on here and think I come out of the deal £20 up.

So much good tat to buy for the car and all you are doing is cutting out the middle man on eBay. It is the exact same stuff just takes longer to arrive. Everything has turned up to date but can be 3days or 3 weeks.

I believe the pre face-lift one is available here (Aliexpress Link Clicky). Please see the Pic above, top one is face-lift bottom one should match yours. ^

Don't know if this is the cheapest but it looks like the right ones.

Changed the oil. Wow was it ever black. First time since buying the car a year ago. Changed the air cleaner element. Wow was it crusted with dirt and plant detritus. Couldn't find the spark plugs to change them, but have figured out where they are hiding :)

Jacked up the car to get under there for an inspection and oil change. Set the parking brake first. After letting it down I now get the "Parking Brake Malfunction" notice on the dash. Sheesh! Add that to the TPMS Malfunction and Oil Sensor Malfunction errors.

Update: Took the car to the Fort Collins Audi dealership. They said they'd take a look for ~150.00. Ended up costing $225.00. All that was fixed was the power steering. Took the car to an independent mechanic. He plugged in one harness he found unplugged and VOILA! - all issues resolved. Back to 100% :)

All sorted thanks for your help not as easy as I thought would be.

Look great :friends:

I did this too on the weekend. Took about 20-30 mins a side for me. Look great, only thing i would add is that you (or I) now dont see the indicator flashing on the inner part of the wing mirror with the new lights. Other than that, i think they look great. Was a little concerned they may look a little chavvy but think they look nice and OEM.

DA polished the car with orange pad and Dodo juice lime prime.
Followed by 2 coats of Poorboy's EX-P.
Then a wax with Collinite 476s

That looks great! I finally got myself an A4 a couple of months ago (hi all), been perusing these forums since and found a lot of good tips.

I'm keen to keep it as shiny as possible. Right now using only a carnauba wax (Mothers's California Gold) on the bodywork, which looks nice - but not as good as yours. Tested out a synthetic polymer (Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax) on the girlfriend's car and it came up a treat. You reckon something like the Meguiar's or Poorboy's EX-P, followed by a carnauba wax, is the way to go?

Scuba blue metallic paint on mine, so anything that's going to bring up dark colours would be ideal. I have no problem with having to re-apply it more regularly, or using several products and some elbow grease. Whatever looks best.

You need a dual action polisher with a fine cut cleaner polish like dodo lime prime. That will remove slot of very fine wash scratches. First time I've used the poorboys ex-p. I do have poorboys black hole though. And I can fault Collinite for a quality wax.
Love scuba blue BTW

Thanks for the pointers. I'll definitely give dodo lime prime a try next time. I haven't experimented even with fine polishes yet, but sounds like that's just the thing to get the finest scratches out. Then I can carry on with abrasive-free products for regular waxing.

Poorboy's stuff seems to be well received in general. I've only used their wheel sealant so far - happy with the results from that certainly.

I'm so pleased with scuba blue. Perfect colour for me and I'm sure I can bring it up to an excellent finish with the right know-how.

Love these!

I think i might have to. This link above would fit the 8P A3 I assume? 2007 model

Upon closer inspection the 07 one has the small side ones, not the wing mirror ones. They do them though https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32978...d=6552amp-qc45LfVnuJJTZ54dE9WIpQ1561186093757

Looking spot on mate. . How did you manage to fit the number plate at the right place?
Cheer mate. Grill came with a surround and I matched it to just below parking sensors like OE grill. Handy done.
