Sparkplug in cylinder 1 is stuck. No idea if it's turning or, if the sparkplug is rounded, or if the thread in the head is ******. Will remove valve cover when I have more time and have a look what is going on.

If worst comes to worst and the thread is done, then the head is pretty much done in which case I need a new one, and might as well get an AGU head. How would that fit on an AUM block? Direct swap? What about VVT? E-gas?

Also, this was cylinder 2. Has anyone seen that before?

You will loose a little low down torque with a large port AGU head fitting it to your AUM... plus you will need to swap the VVT and cams over and delete the SAI

Whats the reason for the loss in torque? I was undert the impression that AGU heads were "better"?

Depends on your definition of 'better' :)

larger ports mean lower air speed at lower rpm so lose of torque especially on a small turbo like a K03... by the time a large port head makes any sense the K03 will have run out of puff so you essentially gain nothing and lose bottom end torque

Plus most AGU heads are very worn... you'd be better off just sourcing a small port head from a later car...

Alright. So any small port head should be a direct plug and play swap? I'm assuming all small port heads are slightly more modern with VVT and e-gas?

too much internet reading..

"better" as in looses torque and torque onset from low port velocity from oversize ports..

"better" a in more ideally suited for 500bhp+ applications

how's that fit with your requirement?

I got the issue sorted. Seems the thread was fine. Some dumbass (me) didn't seat one of those rubber seals in cyl 1 properly and the plug was melted on there.
Wont get nowhere near 500hp. At most half of that. Will probably get a slight upgrade when the stock is worn out. Was only thinking of the AGU head because i assumed i was gonna swap it anyway. Thanks for the clarification
