Big shout out to Alex at vag car coding.
He fitted hill hold assist, a reversing camera and front and rear thinkview camera.

He did this at my residence and I can’t praise his service enough.

How much was the reverse camera retrofit ?

I'd suggest you drop @DJAlix a line. Imo, price varies depending on the camera including if it is front only or dual channel and options such as cloud storage etc you are looking at.

Agree, but he is asking about reversing camera. Alex sources the camera for me, and I then paid for camera and fitting.

I just read camera and missed the 'reverse' bit . Cheers @q5mam

Sorted me out too.

I've had reverse camera on the Q7, TPMS on the RS3 and also did some coding including Mag ride setup.

Oh and he rewired my dash cam too and fitted my rear camera.

Top man and highly recommended.

+1, great guy.. best knowledge in the business with all the tools. I think you’d struggle to find a main dealer that knows how to use their own tools as well as Alex does and what’s best, it’s all approved and warranty friendly with him being authorised.

One complaint, he’s in London... grrrr! Wrong side of the bridge ;)

My complaint, he’s on the wrong side of the world. No independents in Australia that can do a mag ride calibration. :(

He has definitely done remote work, a few examples being some in the states. He would need to send you a dongle, worth PM’ing him, as may still not be possible for mag ride

Oh yeah good idea, I don’t see it being an issue but the owner would have to take the measurements from the wheel centre to the arch which isn’t difficult.

Anyone with VCDS over there?
