Hi i have a Q3 2013 and have purchased a double button handbrake switch as opposed to the single button thats fitted.
Im new to coding but cant find any help on coding it in. It has hill assist. Manual box.
Need to know how to code the Auto handbrake functions.

Do you mean hold assist? Did your car come with it from factory? If not then you need to wire it in, it’s not as simple as just coding.

No. I have hold assist. My button is single rocker but i have got a button with auto handbrake on it

Its not always just swap & code, as Darren rightly says, its wiring possibly also & has been on some I've fitted iirc.

All i actually want to achieve us not to need to press the foot brake to release the handbrake.

The put your old switch back and check the coding/adaption of ABS of other modules..
