Will these fit straight in without any modifications? Also is there a wiring loom already in my car for the electric seats. It’s a 2005 A4 avant 2.0tdi sline with cloth interior. These seats are out of a saloon.

Many thanks.

Not these actual seats in the picture but equivalent in better condition

There’s no picture mate

Your car is not pre-wired, rear seats are different between the avant/saloon.

Ok great thanks for the help saved me buying something that wasn’t going to fit.

front seats will fit straight off if they are B7 items as the wiring is already in the floor of the car, the seats are wired according to spec .
If you look in your floor seat plugs connection point you'll see the plugs, depending on what seats you have the plugs will be wired to the seats, the sockets in the car will be for most cases wired for all options , memory seats sometimes vary a bit as they use a different loom in the seat aswell but connection wise to the main car loom is wired.
I have a B7 special edition which had heated sports seats, swapped them for B7 S4 recaro's which were full electric and everything plugged straight in and works, only had to fit a larger fuse for the passenger side seat movement.
Seat occupancy all worked as per previous seats .
Rears seats will fit but need alteration to fit , doable though if the seats are worth swapping.
B6 are not just a straight swap as they need a few tweaks to function , actual fit in the car is fine , also B6 don't have the side airbags which the B7 seats do.

Thanks for the in-depth answer. What needs doing for the rear seats. Not sure if I’m better just waiting for the a mint set out of a avant. Especially if there a lot messing about involved
