Hi, I'm a recent owner of now my 3rd Audi and this time I have a 2012 Audi A6 sline 3.0l 245bhp Quattro.
My rear sensors have always not worked. I first thought it may not have the option for rear parking but then realized why would it have front but not rear. Wondering if anyone can advise. I have put a picture to show what I get on the MMI. Could it be a faulty rear sensor maybe or do i not have rear sensor option

You have a dead sensor.

activate the parking sensors then lightly touch each sensor in turn you will feel a slight vibration from a working sensor.

Thanks guys, will take a look today. Thought it would be the case. Now hopefully I can easily find the dead sensor

Hi Michael

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? My car has started doing the same thing as of late. I have VCDS so I checked which one was faulty. mine said it was the left most one. I replaced it and the error is still present.

I tried swapping it with the one one the far right and the error still stayed on the left. I am hoping the loom or the module hasn't had it.

If you ever found out how to get to the bottom of it, I'd be interested in knowing.
