Evening Lords of the Rings!
Following my successful very long list of retrofits on my previous c6 I started to collect some parts for my a7.
I have ran extended cans to HBA mirror yesterday and surprisingly didn’t get it to work.
I have retrofitted rear view mirror soul black 4F0857511K 4PK and had successful communication with unit via vcds. Unfortunately it keeps throwing ACC communication issue and I believe is down to 4F0 HBA mirror as is from previous generation.
My mate has similar A7 with factory fitted HBA option however WITHOUT rear view mirror camera (CMOS). The main difference is that he has adaptive lights (non LED) and night vision.
I have tried coding 8E and 85 + central electrics without any success as yet.
I was told by polish fellas that I might need newer hba mirror 8K0857511E. I would be happy if anyone know how to get it to work without mirror. I have extended can,
Acc, lane assist etc so j851
And j852 should be able to handle it from triangle camera in windshield.
Any thoughts?
