I’m sure I’ve seen a thread already but I can’t seem to find it. Looking for puddle lights for the S3, preferably just the Audi 4 rings logo.

My friends also looking for his new S1. Does anyone know if there is an S1 logo puddle light available anywhere? And is it the same figment for both cars or would it need to be a separate part?

Cheers Ross

Just to replace existing or you need a supply/fit solution?

I’ve just got the factory plain white puddle lights on my S3 so would like to just replace with the 4 rings projector puddle lights. My friend is picking up an S1 tomorrow and just trying to find out whether he would be able to do the same on his. Also if there was an S1 logo projector puddle light available he’d prefer that @NHN

Audi parts are around £80 for a pair. Think they only come in 4 rings or Quattro and your plain white ones.
I was told by a dealer when I got my s3 they removed the Audi beam from the standard option list but the car still comes with the plain white led so I can buy the lens for around £12 each. I asked for the part number and they couldn’t find it. Luckily mine had the rings out the factory but I don’t think the wltp cars had them.

Yeah, think that’s a bit steep tbh. I can confirm my wltp s3 didn’t come with them. Is the lens just something you place on top of the existing light?

If you take one out it’s pretty simple bit if kit.
There’s the lens and a PCB with an led in the middle. The pcb and led is the same on both the only difference is the lens that you see at the bottom of the door card. The ones with logos have an image on it so when light hits it the logo is projected to the ground. Not worth £80 but still pretty cool. I’ve seen the cheap eBay/amazon ones that has any logo you want on them for about £15 but when fitted they don’t look great. The logo isn’t as sharp as the audi ones but for £15 you can’t really argue with it compared to £80.

yeah I popped out my current ones and stuck them back in just to see how easy it was after a YouTube video and it’s pretty much fool proof. I’d personally rather pay the £80 and get the proper ones if they look better and will last longer

I’ve seen some genuine audi ones fade but they normally get replaced under warranty, think it’s moisture gets into the unit. Nothing is 100% in life

^^This^^
But in saying that my Audi fitted ones are doing that slightly after two and a half years

My premium original genuine German quality Audi units produced a planetarium display on the floor after about 18 months. Replaced under warranty.
The same can't be said for the pitted chrome on the exhaust tips - warranty claim refused.

I'm going to fit puddle lights and replace the lenses for warning lights up the side of the door card.

I keep trying to find which pins l need to plug into for the puddle lights but can't seem to get the info from anywhere.

2015 Audi A4 S Line Black edition plus if you're able to shed any light on the pin numbers on the door plugs (no pun intended) :)

Thanks
