Audi A3 8P 1.4 TFSI - prefomace mods?

Hi just joined this site, I have a 2009 Audi A3 sport 1.4 tfsi and cant find much more then a remap and even then that doesn’t get much more HP over standard,any suggestions? Also has anyone fitted a race chip?

you can try to get made or buy a catless downpipe, and a cold air intake, plus a stage 2 remap, and i'll be much better.
otherwise, you can try swapping the turbo to a K03, plus a bigger intercooler
 
Thanks for the reply, is there a lot of work going into swapping turbos as I saw people have done it and would be interested in doing it?
 
i had a 1.4t before, and only got the catless downpipe, intake and remap. never took it to the dyno, but i assume it was around 170 hp, probably even more

That’s a good gain over stock, What site did you get the down pipe from
 
i got made a custom one, its hard to find them online.
now that i have been driving a S3 for the last 3 years i'd say the car is slow,
but at that time yeah it felt way different than the stock one, plus it was a good build

I feel for you!
I drive a A3 170bhp & my son has a A3 140bhp, both 2.0tdi.
This week my sons car (A3 140bhp) went into Audi for some work, I took it in for him.
Gave me a loan car, A1 1.4 tfsi s-line, 125bhp I think.
I was thinking a brand new car, little smaller than the A3 would **** all over his A3 140bhp tdi, I was very wrong, it was ****!!

Yeah my dad also has a A3 2.0 tfsi (slightly tuned) and ****** hell its fast been borrowing it well mines getting a few mods and don’t want to give it back

Hi Fernando, what intake did you use on this 1.4tfsi set up?
 
it was a K&N 57S-9500 intake airbox, and did a custom tubing with a silicone pipe, and modified the air box
 
this is the airbox (before i modified the tubing into the turbo), and is not too clear the inlet i modified into the airbox (some kind of funnel)
and the funnel thing itself
