Hey Everyone,

I've currently got a 1.4TFSI (ea211) with a cheap stainless steel Catback straight through exhaust. It's decent while I can find an MOT person who will overlook it.
Sadly, I don't think ill get away with it forever.
So I thinking of investing in a good exhaust system. ArmyTrix do one which is perfect but the price is a little steep I think but that includes a downpipe and CAT simulator. £2887

Does anyone know of a custom exhaust place which can do a similar system to this, including a downpipe, CAT simulator, and valves for noise, All while being under the Armytrix price?

Any recommendations would be helpful. Unless your telling me to get an S3 lol
Cheers

Hi bud, whats the sound like on the straight catback? thinking of going for the remus middle pipe that removes the two middle silencers and leaving the back muffler.

As from the inside as I don't get many opportunities to listen to it from the outside: It's quiet when I don't accelerate/cruising. However, it's very loud when accelerating and I guess, on any form of boost whichever gear.
It does drone above speeds of 60mph if cruising/long motorway trips, but if your like me and have loud music on quite often isn't noticeable.
I've really enjoyed the sound it's gave so far.

One thing I hate though lol, is that once the exhaust is super hot, and you park up and idle, you can't tell the cars running. Super quiet

My mum describes it sounds like an M3 or M4 from the outside, but I don't think she knows what she's talking about ahahahaa.... definitely not
She did state it doesn't have a high pitch sound but a nice middle ground between a lower tone and a higher tone.

Hope this helps mate

Yeah cheers mate! I know what you mean, the car is super quiet haha, think I'll probs go for that middle pipe that gets rid of the two silencers and leave the muffler on if it drones a bit without it. Thanks for your help bud :icon thumright:
