Have agreed with my dealer to spray non contacts points due to rust as goodwill. Is there anything that I should ensure they do to avoid the return of rust?

You might find this impossible but try to ensure the Dealer is not incompetent !

Personally I wouldn't let a dealer anywhere near it spraying stuff around the hubs. You're risking (and a not insignificant risk) of overspray on everything. Being a dealer, they'll do it the cheapest way possible, which will mean it'll be done on the car with minimal protection for other surfaces.

Did mine myself.
Had to borrow my mums driveway though !
- Jack car up.
- Take off wheel.
- Use wire wool to rub off excess rust.
- Clean area.
Mask with masking tape hub face, disc, caliper etc.
Paint hub. I used smooth silver hammerite, the straight over rust version. 2 to 3 coats. And i used a hairdryer to speed up the drying process !
A year old now and no return of rusty rear hubs !!!

I did this aswell. Much better than letting your dealer loose on it :)

No, got as much dust rust off as possible.
Used the hammerite with rust treatment in it, i.e Hammerite Straight to Rust. It appears to work ok, so far....

+1 that is sufficient, you want it to look as new. no need for it to look like a body panel finish - will be out of place.
