this might be of some use of folk who want to disable keyless entry, so i guess will prevent scrotes from scanning your house from outside for keys while the other scrote is by your car then obtaining entry and driving off! shame it disables the boot kick

Or just put your keys in a tin at night.

Can't do that in all the models yet, I've disabled it in the A4 though as massive security risk imho.

I agree, to be honest I prefer the button anyway and the boot kick isn't amazing.

It is quite nice / handy to just touch the door handle to lock the car though but auto open of the doors with a touch is a major security issue given the scumbag relay attacks that you hear about.

Just place the keys in a faraday bag if you're worried, they're not expensive. Keyless security risk or not the benefits of keyless are vastly better and it's never bothered me one bit as cars are still stolen by having the keys.
By disabling the keyless you could just be putting yourself and your family at a greater risk....
