Hi guys i have a 2004 a3 8p the interior has the wood effect and everything els is cream that I'm not too keen on I'm looking for options/mods i can do on the interior would be great to get some suggestions or even pictures of what some of you guy have done to your interiors that i can do to mine.

You can change interior trim to various colours with soul black being a common colour or the chrome kind but mind most are all plastic not Aluminium.
You could do the Ashtray delete, the Flap lighter, puddle lights, hazard lights Mods .
Looms for puddle lights + Hazard Pm @RobinA3 .
Puddle lights available from @t8ups .
Just a little starter to get your teeth into mate and will make your car nicer in the inside for as little as £150 or so.
Then if you have a climate control with heated seats move onto the Q3 CC fitted to your car ( lovely once done ) and a little one for the outside Autofolding mirrors , all these mods can be found by a little researching on here , that's half the enjoyment finding them , little tip look for a member @Ash187 Ashe has done heaps off mods for inside ,

If you want some black leather seats from an S3 (Heated with lumbar support) then I have some for sale.
Very good condition, and I have declined offers on ebay of £350 but would sell them at that price to a forum member if you are interested.

I would need to know quickly though as the Ebay listing ends today and I have a few watchers.

Would you be willing to post

I'm not that keen to post due to the packaging hassle and arranging couriers to collect.
I haven't ruled it out entirely but I would prefer them to be collected and minimise the hassle, especially as they are at my partners house and she would have to deal with it on my behalf.

If your phone supports wireless charging, connects2 have a ash fry delete kit, where u can have a wireless charging pad instead, good for a nice clean setup

Or you could swap your steering wheel out to a three post one if you have a normal se one

Not keen on leather seat mate thanks for the offer

MyHermes would collect them and deliver.

My hermes... don't get me started! :(
That's the easier side of it. Packaging so My Hermes don't tear them when they drag them out of the van is my biggest concern.
We are in a private chat discussing it, so I'm sure we will sort something if they don't sell tonight on Ebay. That's obviously the easiest option for me as the listing stipulates collection only, so the buyer knows this in advance so they should only buy on those grounds.

Yeah I hear ya brother - private couriers suck. I just know it will be easier than royal mail. Protection is key with Hermes. ..lots of packaging / cardboard / bubble wrap. Never tried to send a car interior.......

Whoa I like that paddy. How was that done? Mine is solid engraving...did you get the letters cut out or buy an illuminated strip for the speakers from somewhere and swap it?

Edit: just read the original thread. That site doesn't do these any more, maybe due to the fight it caused and the mountain of emails hahaha :box:

Cheers Robin, I read a few pages and have checked it out before but do you do the Bose strips? Thought it was just the foot and puddle lights mate.

They came as a replacement grill with an LED strip fixed behind.. Some how they altered the original grill i think because they look identical, i will try and get a decent close up picture today , see how they did it.

Nige would probably know

Cheers Paddy, they do look cool. I see that German lad is no longer selling them.

I can't find a honeycomb grille for the 8p1 split front model online mate but someone else here may have seen one. You could spray yours satin black, that would pep the look up a bit. Can you post a pic of your car for ideas.

Had to crop the pic a bit due to 2.0mb max. Is there any spray brand in particular to go for?

Honeycombe grills are a pain. Took us two days to fit an RS6 C6 grill into my S3, and it was a headache.
Since doing it I've been asked by two different members how I did it, and having sent a lengthy detailed 'guide' via PM i've not even received a thanks, and no sign of it happening either.

My advice is this: if you can't get a direct swap honeycombe grill for your car, forget about it and mod the one you have or find something else to mod.
It isn't worth the hassle IMO, it's too much effort for a nice gain that only you will notice.

Think i will look into getting my grill gloss black i think unless i see something else which i doubt i will. Thanks for the heads up
