Hi all, been a while since I've posted. All has been well with my S3 until today. Driving home I heard a snap sound and had no clutch. Drove the car home and found clutch pedal intact and moving but no hydraulic feel. Also looks like fluid on top of gear box.

Car has done 175k and clutch was done before about 90k .

Local Audi specialist picking it up tomorrow.

What kind of price am I looking at and is there anything else I should get done at the same time?

I love the car and had it 5 years and looking to keep it as long as possible.

Sorry for long post,

Cheers

John

check line/hose not popped off if fluid on top of box.. the hydraulic lines on the front of the box by starter motor, and concentric slave is inside the bell housing

Thanks Bill, will get a look in the morning. Sounds more promising than my thoughts

Turns out release bearing has failed. I'm planning on keeping the car long term so should I ask for clutch, DMF and Concentric Slave Cylinder to be changed?

how old was what was in it?
was concentric slave an luk one? had 2 of these poxy thing burst their ends off on brand new installs.. bleeding them up and pop, the ends blew off. Using SACHs only now
