Hi all
As the title suggests, does anybody know of a way to completely remove the black rubberised coating on the interior plastic panels, the ones around the window switches, gearstick gator etc?
As we all know they get scratched easily & look very tatty, so to save buying new ones can this coating be removed to leave the nice black plastic underneath??
Cold something like paint stripper be used or would it melt the plastic? Or does nail varnish remover work?
I'd rather not have to spend ages scraping it all off with my nails!
Has anybody done this (I'm sure some of you have) & what worked for you?
The car is a 2004 Audi A4 B6
