what are people’s thoughts on S3 8P resale values. With reasonable mileage they seem to be holding their value quite we’ll and even noticed they’ve increased in value over the last 6 months.
Will this continue and why are they holding their value so well.

I recently put my car into AutoTrader just to see what number it suggested. I have a late 2009 S3 Sportback, black leather, pano, S-tronic (no Bose) on 52k miles, full Audi SH bar the last which was local Audi specialist.

It suggested £12500 private which is what I paid a year ago from trade (on 41k)

And that's before the add-ons like Revo Stage 1 tune & intake plus GFV valve and pristine condition.

I'd take a year's 'free' motoring!

Maybe there holding price in some Areas around the UK but I have noticed a fair few up my way up for sale at over the top prices which I guess happens all the time when trying to sell privately .

@ch1z64, I bought mine from 'up your way' from the main dealer on the edge of town.

Previous owner was an offshore guy too.

I have only bought one off my S3 from Scotland and it turned out a bucket off S**t and was over priced , the last 3 I have bought from England and they where sensible priced , well I thought so , are you running a 8p or 8v

I used to have an S4 with the 3.0T, that was good too. I’m contemplating heading back to that size of vehicle, but an Avant to cope with shifting kids stuff and tip runs. Maybe with a Revo type tweak to 400+
