OK so what I have found out, perhaps this is widely know but maybe not.

I was looking for an engine re-map and noticed that ABT list two upgrades for the C7 245PS engine one for 500Nm stock and one for 580Nm.

Wiki says that the UK market had a 580Nm C7 245PS engine.

Parkers lists both versions.

I tracked down the Audi A6 2014MY brochure (from November 2013) and this confirms that the 245PS engine is 580Nm.

Where in the brochure does it tell you max gearbox torque figures

I’m trying to find out the same for my car.

Sorry mis-read your text....it appears that the consensus is that the S-Tronic (I assume that is yours) maxxes out at 600Nm....no hard and fast on that,,,,maybe someone knows the definitive.

The engine output torque is tabled in the tech data at the end of the brochure
 
Bobby singh knows a thing or two about the S Tronic boxes, there rated @ 600nm i think but many are running above that with remaps.

Mines running ( rolling road proved ) 672nm, theres rumours there good for around 700/720nm...

I dont hammer mine and dont drive in dynamic ever really!!! And use paddles mayb once or twice a fortnight
 
Yes I have a S tronic. I read my stock torque was 580nm. If Max rating is 600nm, seem quite close to max as stock.

Mine is running at 767nm tuned by @bobbysingh

On the paper it says 245 but I had it Dyno'd when it was stock and it showed 268.

So not exactly sure

Wow that’s big gains in torque. Was it just a stage 1 remap or more?

I have been running stage 1 for almost a year now. Done over 20k and I had only one issue with cooling oil valve. To get it sorted need to get whole transmission taken out. Didn't bothered yet to get it done. No problem with driving though.

OK its official mine is a Q3 2013 245PS and it is 580Nm...looks like they upped the stock torque sometime in the first 2 years after release...

Hi Bish, sounds like yours is a C7.5 i.e post 2014 with the increase in PS (245 to 272). The torque remained the same as the preceeding 245 engine in the c7 i.e. 580Nm. It appears just the first C7 for about 12-18 months after release had the 500Nm engines.
Wiki says so and also ABT offer tuning for both 500Nm and 580Nm for the 245PS engine.

Hi mate. Yes this was my thinking too. Just don’t want to put crazy stress on the s tronic if I remap it. But devils been running 768nm on his so maybe it’ll be fine. Will just have to decide on who will do my remap now

audi upgrades
S tronic can take torque but there is no golden rule, each case is different.
But from my experience I've not had a slip from torq @ 750nm

I do Engine and Gearbox together

Yep I am a novice.... have only remapped (bluefin) an Audi once...purely for drivability..a 2.0 litre Tdi 140 with a multi-tronic..was a dog as stock ..it was transformed...177 and 400...same on this although I would like to hit 300PS and 600Nm..nice round numbers....nothing dramatic...I have my bike if I want to scare the sh1t out of myself....:redrs4:I am thinking Revo stage 1....309PS and 600Nm...so ticks my numerical boxes
