1.8t apu decat/tuning question

Hey,
I have a decat pipe fitted and was wondering where the best place to mount the o2 sensor is? The car only has 1 pre cat o2 sensor and the pipe has room for a 2nd further down. Would it be better further down? Also is it crucial to have it mapped in? I'v jus started tweeking it but don't wanna remap till I have some other parts ready. What other bits can I install that don't require a map straight away.
 
Leave the O2 sensor alone.

The usual bolt on bits are exhuast and intercooler. Theres not really much else you can do that will make any difference.
 
Thanks for the reply, a fmic is next on the list. I was thinking go straight thru using stock pipe with a stock back box, would that be sufficient? Just scrap of the middle section. I do have a k03-073 to rebuild and a set of BEX injectors to match. I'm saving them for when I get a map done. Would you suggest any other supporting mods for that set up? Thanks
 
I use a stock S4 exhaust system, mid-box and rear, with a custom 3" downpipe and sports cat. Makes a nice noise, but isnt loud or droney, and that was plenty for my 280hp hybrid turbo.
